Pan Fried Chicken with Caramelized Onions
With every new recipe, there's always a lingering mystery about how it's going to taste.
I had my doubts about this one.
Guess what? This combo was amazing and quickly become a family favorite!
What do you need for 2 servings
Used Measuring (1 Cup = 250ml)
250 gm chicken breast
1 tsp salt and pepper
1/2 cup chicken broth
3 tbsp olive oil
Flour for coating
Wash and wipe the chicken breasts with a kitchen towel.
Cut the onions lengthwise.
Set the pan over medium heat, add a tbsp of oil and sliced onions. [PIC 1]
Add 1/2 tsp of salt and cook the onions for 20 minutes.
Stir every few minutes. Reduce the heat if required to keep them from sticking and burning.
Continue to cook and stir until the onions turn dark brown. [PIC 2]
Keep them aside.
Pour 1 tbsp of oil in the pan. Mix the flour with salt and pepper. [PIC 3]
Coat the chicken breast in flour mixture and place them in the pan. [PIC 4]
Cook until both sides turns golden brown. [PIC 5 & 6]
Finally add chicken broth and cook for a minute then switch off the flame. [PIC 7 & 8]
Serve with caramelized onions.
An unusual delicious combination, Enjoy!
Add more broth if you prefer chicken with sauce consistency.
