Custard Cookies

Baking has come a long way. Nowadays it's easy to make dishes at our home that was once thought to be reserved only for bakeries. Don’t be afraid its lot simpler than most of you think.

Well then! Lets us start with a simple snack that kids enjoy the most.

What do you need to make 20 cookies

  • 180 gm all purpose flour

  • 120 gm custard powder

  • 150 gm butter (room temperature)

  • 180 gm powdered sugar

  • 1 egg (room temperature)

  • Few choco chips & tweety fruity (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

Lets Bake

  • Preheat oven to 190 degrees C.

  • Take two medium sized bowls. Mix custard powder, all purpose flour and salt in one bowl. [PIC 1]

  • Whisk butter and powdered sugar in another bowl until it becomes smooth and creamy. Now add beaten egg and mix it together. [PIC 2]

  • Put the flour mixture from first bowl in to this. [PIC 3]

  • Now mix everything together until it forms a smooth dough. [PIC 4]

  • Make 20 balls from the prepared dough and place it on baking tray with baking sheet. Use a fork to flatten the balls. [PIC 5]

  • Decorate it with tweety fruity and choco chips.

  • Bake at 190 degrees C for 12-15 mins.

Voila! It's Cookie Time.
