This simple homemade crispy appetizer is sure to please everyone.
Kids especially will enjoy this tasty fish delight.
Give it a try, 20 minutes is all you need to make this mouthwatering munchies.
What do you need for 3-4 servings
350 gm tilapia fish fillet
1 tbsp red chili powder
3/4 tbsp coriander powder
3/4 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp crushed fennel
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp all purpose flour
1 tbsp rice flour
Salt as per taste
Bread crumbs for coating
Oil for deep fry
3 tbsp sour cream
1 tsp dried herbs
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1 tbsp finely chopped onion (optional)
1 tbsp finely chopped carrot (optional)
Salt as per taste
Clean the fish and remove the skin. (Removing the skin is optional)
Cut the fish into long strips. [PIC 1]
Take a bowl, add red chili powder, coriander powder, pepper powder, garam masala, crushed fennel, Turmeric, ginger garlic paste, salt and mix them all. [PIC 2]
Now add egg, all purpose flour, rice flour and lemon juice. Mix everything to form a marinade. [PIC 3]
Marinate the fish strips and keep it aside for 20-30 mins. [PIC 4]
For Dipping Cream
Add Sour cream, herbs, minced garlic, onion, carrot, salt and mix everything well.
If the mixture is too thick, Add milk to get the desired consistency.
Coat the marinated fish with bread crumbs. [PIC 7]
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the fish until golden brown. [PIC 8]

Any boneless fish can be used to prepare this recipe.
For dipping cream, you can use any herbs of your choice.
