Foxtail Millet Honey Balls
These may not look fancy and eye-popping like other sugary snacks, but it's super healthy.
Its simple and easy to prepare.
What do you need to make 6 honey balls
Used Measuring (1 Cup = 250ml)
3/4 cup fox millet
1/4 cup honey
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
1 tbsp ghee
Wash and dry the fox millet. (In Shade)
Keep the flame low, dry roast the fox millet until it releases a toasty aroma. It will take approximately 3-4 mins. [PIC 1 & 2]
Allow it to cool down and grind it to a fine powder. [PIC 3 & 4]
Pour honey and mix it evenly. [PIC 5]
Add lukewarm ghee little by little and start mixing. [PIC 6]
When the flour is wet and greasy roll it into even-sized balls. [PIC 7 & 8]
Tasty as well as Healthy, Enjoy!
You can replace honey with sugar or brown sugar.
If you want to add nuts, fry them in ghee and add it to the flour mixture.
These honey balls will stay good in room temperature for a week.
