It takes a bit of patience and effort to prepare this sweet.
But the result will surprise you.
You have to try this one to appreciate its uniqueness and taste.
What do you need for 2 servings
Used Measuring (1 Cup = 250ml)
1 and 1/2 cup full cream milk
1/4 cup ghee
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp corn flour or all purpose flour
1 tbsp almond flakes
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Mix 1 cup of milk, sugar, cardamom, corn flour, ghee together in a heavy bottomed pan. [PIC 1]
Keep the flame low and cook for 10 mins. Stir continuously. [PIC 2]
Now add half cup of milk and set the flame to medium. [PIC 3]
Stir continuously, Cook until the mixture turns glossy . [PIC 4]
Take two baking or parchment sheet. Put one sheet down and brush ghee evenly on the sheet.
Transfer the prepared halwa mixture on the sheet and place another sheet on the top of it. Roll it gently to form a thin layer. [PIC 5 ]
Remove the top sheet and sprinkle almond flakes. Put back the sheet and gently roll so that the flakes stick to halwa. [PIC 6]
Remove the top sheet and shape the edges with rubber spatula or knife . [PIC 7 ]
Refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Cut them into desired shapes along with bottom sheet and serve.

Increase or decrease the quantity of sugar based on your preference.
If you want the halwa to be colorful you can add a pinch of food color liquid.
Almond flakes can be substituted with any crushed nuts of your choice.
