Orange Muffins

Orange Muffins

Muffins are versatile and quite simple to make.

Baked delight that serves as a tasty evening snack and also makes a perfect breakfast treat for your busy morning.

What do you need for 10 -12 muffins

Used Measuring (1 Cup = 255 ml)

  • 1 cup All purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp orange zest

  • 1 egg

  • 100 g butter (melted)

  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice

  • 40 ml milk


  • Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl (All purpose flour, Sugar, Baking powder and Salt). [PIC 1]

  • Add rest of the ingredients one by one into another bowl (Beat the egg first then add melted butter followed by milk, orange zest and juice) [PIC 2]

  • Now combine both.

  • Use rubber spatula to fold the batter without any lumps. [PIC 3]

Lets Bake

  • Preheat an oven to 410°F.

  • Arrange a muffin tray with cupcake liners.

  • Fill the cupcake liners half full and bake at 410°F for 10 mins and then reduce to 375°F bake again for 15 mins.

  • Remove muffins from the oven and allow it cool completely.
