Paneer Lollipop

Paneer Lollipop

Are you thinking of an evening snack to munch?

Try this crunchy and crispy paneer lollipop.

Enhance the flavor & taste by pairing it with homemade dipping sauce.

Served as a snack or an appetizer it will surely disappear in minutes.

What do you need to make 25-30 lollipops

  • 200 gms paneer

  • 1 potato - boiled

  • 1 onion

  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/2 tsp chat masala

  • 3/4 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tsp red chili powder

  • 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste

  • Salt as per taste

For coating

  • Bread crumbs

  • All purpose flour

For Dipping Sauce

  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce

  • 2 tbsp soya sauce

  • 3 garlic cloves

  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes

  • 2 tsp of oil

  • 2-3 tbsp water


  • Finely chop the onion.

  • Mash the potato.

  • Scramble the paneer.

  • Mix 2 tbsp of all purpose flour with 1/4 cup of water to make a thin batter for coating.

  • Take 1/2 cup of bread crumbs in a plate for coating.

  • Add scrambled paneer, mashed potatoes and chopped onion in a bowl. [PIC 1]

  • Mix everything well.

  • Now add rest of the ingredients (All purpose flour, Turmeric powder, Red chili powder, Garam masala, Chat masala, Ginger garlic paste & Salt) [PIC 2]

  • Mix it to form a dough [PIC 3]

  • Make small balls out of it. [PIC 4]

  • Now take each ball and dip into all purpose flour batter and coat it with bread crumbs. [PIC 5]

Lets Cook Paneer balls

  • Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. When its hot set the flame to medium and slowly drop prepared paneer balls one by one. [PIC 6]

  • Deep fry until it turns light brown & crispy. [PIC 7]

  • Repeat the same for all paneer balls.

Lets make Dipping Sauce

  • Add 2 tsp of oil in a small frying pan. When its hot add finely chopped garlic followed by chili flakes and give a quick stir. [PIC 8]

  • Add tomato sauce & soya sauce. [PIC 9]

  • Now add 2 tbsp of water and cook for 2-3 mins.

  • Attach small stick and serve with dipping sauce.
